- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, storage and transportation of J101, J105, J106Q and other methanation catalysts. This standard is applicable to methanation catalysts that hydrogenate a small amount of carbon oxides in the gas to generate methane in ammonia plants, methanol plants and hydrogen production systems.
