Scope

This part informs about the physical and chemical properties and hazards of hydrofluoric acid, and stipulates emergency measures in the event of a hydrofluoric acid leak, treatment methods at the leak site, and disposal methods at the leak site. This section applies to the treatment and disposal of hydrofluoric acid with a content of less than 70% when leakage occurs during production, storage, use, operation and transportation.
