Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, transportation and other aspects of the transportation container for new fuel assemblies (with or without related components, the same below) for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, testing and transportation of new fuel assembly transport containers for pressurized water reactor (except VVER) nuclear power plants.
