Scope
This standard specifies the identification methods, identification procedures and procedures for active nuclear third-stage water pumps (including equipment cooling water pumps, important plant water pumps, boric acid transfer pumps, spent fuel pool cooling pumps and chilled water circulation pumps) in second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Documentation requirements. This standard is applicable to the identification of active nuclear third-stage water pumps in second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Its equipment scope covers pumps, brackets, bases and anchor bolts, couplings, bearing lubrication and sealing systems, etc. Pump accessories, such as motors, non-metallic parts and materials (lubricating oil, O-rings, etc.), mechanical seals, etc. are not within the scope of this standard.
