- This standard specifies the identification methods, identification procedures and document requirements for centrifugal top-charging pumps in second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard is applicable to the identification of centrifugal top-charging pumps in second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Its equipment scope covers pumps, brackets, bases and anchor bolts, couplings, speed increase boxes, bearing lubrication and sealing systems, etc. . Pump accessories, such as motors, non-metallic parts and materials (lubricating oil, O-rings, etc.), mechanical seals, etc. are not within the scope of this standard.
