Scope: This standard specifies the terms, definitions, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of fiber-reinforced resin-based composite mandrels for overhead conductors (hereinafter referred to as composite mandrels). This standard is applicable to fiber-reinforced resin-based composite reinforcement cores for overhead conductors.
