Scope: This standard specifies the methods for testing and evaluating the corrosion resistance of backplates on disc brakes or brake shoes on drum brakes. The methods and evaluation criteria mentioned in this standard are ISO 15484 product specification/confirmation stage and mass production Part of the monitoring phase. This standard applies only to laboratory performance tests, whether static or cyclic. It does not apply to field or test field tests.
