Scope
This part of GB/T 29268:--Specifies the principles of general biometric system performance testing, including predicting error rate and recognition speed and comparing performance and whether the performance meets specific requirements;--Specifies the performance indicators of biometric system;- -Specify requirements for test methods, data recording and result reporting; -Provide a framework for development and a description of test protocols to help avoid deviations in test results due to inappropriate data collection or program analysis, and help at the same cost Achieve best-in-class performance estimates in the field, and improve understanding of the applicability of test results. This section applies to the performance testing of biometric identification systems and algorithms based on test experiments. The test analyzes the system output matching scores and decision results, without involving the system's algorithm or the biometric distribution of the potential user population. Errors caused by users deliberately avoiding being recognized by a biometric system are outside the scope of this section (for example, active impersonators).
