Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, composition and functions, requirements and test methods, reliability tests, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of 650nm 100M Ethernet optical-electrical-optical transponders for plastic optical fiber systems. This standard applies to 650nm 100M Ethernet optical-electrical-optical transponders for plastic optical fiber systems, hereinafter referred to as "650nm optical-electrical-optical transponders".
