Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, model, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of copper-clad aluminum wires. This standard applies to bare round copper-clad aluminum wires for electricians. The typical use of the copper-clad aluminum wire is the inner conductor of the radio frequency coaxial cable, and other uses are also available.
