Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of air source unitary air-conditioning (heat pump) hot water units (hereinafter referred to as "units"). This standard applies to (heat pump) hot water units driven by motor-compressors, using vapor compression refrigeration cycle, using air as heat source, and providing domestic hot water and indoor air conditioning functions at the same time or in combination.
