Scope: This standard specifies the method for measuring the particle size distribution of particles dispersed in electrolyte solution by electrical resistance method. This method is suitable for obtaining the particle size distribution by measuring the pulse height and the correlation between the pulse and the particle volume or particle diameter, and the measurement range is about 0.4 µm to 1 200 µm. Although specific material measurement details are not presented in this standard, guidelines are given for particle size analysis of metal powders such as porous materials and conductive materials.
