- This part of GB/T 28864 specifies the nomenclature of the most common surface defects, body defects and shape defects in ferrite (magnetic oxide) magnetics. Most defects are illustrated with illustrations. General recommendations are also given for consistent schemes for specifying the exact location of a defect, combining the general name of the location with more specific location modifiers. This part serves as a reference in terminology when drafting technical documents, defect detection specifications, etc.
