Scope: This standard specifies the technical indicators, collection content and methods, data attribute structure, quality control and results acceptance requirements for the collection of highway geographic information, and also specifies the operation process for collecting highway geographic information using mobile road measurement technology. This standard applies to the collection, processing and exchange of basic geographic information for highway engineering construction when establishing highway geographic information databases and related geographic information systems at all levels; applicable to 1:10 000., 1:50 000, 1:100 000 , 1:250 000 national highway, provincial highway and county highway data collection and update. Data collection of township roads and special roads, 1:5000 road data collection and update can also be implemented by reference.
