- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for the determination of saturated hydrocarbons, olefins and aromatics in motor gasoline by gas chromatography. This standard can also determine the content of benzene, oxygenated compounds and total oxygen in motor gasoline. This standard applies to the determination of the total aromatics content (volume fraction) of not more than 50%, the total olefin content (volume fraction) of 1.5% to 30%, the oxygen-containing compound content (volume fraction) of 0.8% to 15%, the total oxygen content (mass fraction) is 1.5% to 3%, and the benzene content (volume fraction) is not more than 2% of motor gasoline.
