Scope

This standard specifies the method summary, instruments and equipment, sample collection, measurement steps, data processing and measurement report for the determination of coalbed methane content by means of heating and desorption. This standard applies to the gas content determination of bituminous coal and anthracite core samples obtained during coal and coalbed methane exploration.
