- This standard specifies the specific requirements for the test equipment and samples used in the compressive strength test of engineering ceramics, as well as the processing method of the test results. This standard applies to the determination of the compressive strength at room temperature of high-strength engineering ceramics used as mechanical parts and structural materials, and also applies to the determination of the compressive strength of high-strength functional ceramics at room temperature.
