Scope

This standard specifies the static compression test method for cushioning materials for packaging. This test is used to evaluate the cushioning performance of the cushioning material under the action of static load and its ability to protect the internal products during circulation. The data obtained in this test can be used for cushioning packaging design. The shape of cushioning materials for packaging applicable to this standard can be in the form of blocks, flakes, filaments, granules and molded parts, etc. It is not suitable for metal springs and shock-proof rubber.
