Scope

This standard specifies the definition, classification and specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage of manufactured sand for cement concrete in highway projects. This standard is applicable to ready-mixed concrete in highway projects, on-site mixed concrete and machine-made sand used in concrete products, cement mortar, etc. for reference use.
