This standard gives the definitions of radiance, light and colour, the eye and sight, optical charateristics of materials, source of light, lighting fittings, lighting and daylight. The main stress is laid upon indoor lighting. For daylight only common definitions concerning lighting is included. No definitions for sportslighting and ligthing and signals for transport are included.
