DS/INF 117:2002 CENELEC Guide No. 16 on the implementation of New Approach directives and the Low Voltage directive with respect to the EC declaration of conformity
The EC declaration of conformity is established by the manufacturer, or his authorized representative within the Community (or the EEA), in accordance with the provisions of the EC directives mentioned in the declaration. It complements the affixing of the CE marking to the related product, attesting to it its conformity with the provisions of the related directives.
