Scope

This European Standard specifies the common conditions for rectangular electrical modular connectors for receptacles and plugs with interchangeable modules and a continuous operating temperature of 175 ℃ (or 125 ℃). Contact arrangements for fibre optic contacts are described in EN 4639-002.
