DIN 18302:2012 PDF

Scope: 1.1This standard deals with the sinking of boreholes - for bored wells for —water extraction and introduction; —ground water lowering; —drainage; —degasification purposes; —for use as ground water gauging stations, —for taking geotechnical measurements, —to make use of geothermal energy, —to install anodes. The standard also deals with the maintenance, the rehabilitation and the abandonment of such boreholes. 1.2This standard does not cover: —earthwork associated with borehole sinking operations (cf. DIN 18300); —the development of boreholes for the construction of bored piles. 1.3DIN 18299 clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
