Scope

General This International Standard provides guidelines for developing functional and technical specifications for a space system. It defines requirements for the format and the content of the functional and technical specifications. This International Standard is applicable to all types of space systems, projects and products. Tailoring when viewed from the perspective of a specific programme or project context, the requirements defined in this International Standard should be tailored to match the genuine requirements of a particular profile and circumstances of a programme or project.
