Scope
This standard specifies the following: ——Quantitative definitions and specifications that determine the power quality characteristics of grid-connected wind turbines. —A measurement procedure that quantifies a property. —Procedures for assessing compliance with power quality requirements, including assessment of power quality dependent on wind turbine ties when installed at a particular site, including in the case of multiple rebuilds; The measurement method in this standard is valid for three-phase grid connections, as long as the wind turbine does not actively control frequency or voltage anywhere in the grid. Although the measurement methods specified in this standard require that wind turbines be measured and characterized in accordance with this standard at a common coupling point at medium or high pressure, the measurement procedures are valid regardless of the size of the wind turbine. be. The measured characteristics are valid only for the specific configuration of the wind turbine being evaluated: if the wind turbine is operated in a different configuration with regard to power quality, including changes in the control parameters, other evaluations are required: The measurement procedures in this standard are designed to be as site-independent as possible, so that power quality characteristics measured at one site are valid at other sites. The procedure for assessing compliance with power quality requirements is to ensure that the power system has sufficient active and reactive power regulation capacity to absorb wind energy generation at medium or high voltage common points in the power system with a frequency of up to 1 Hz. Effective when there is sufficient load. In other cases, it may be used as a criterion for evaluating compliance with power quality requirements:
