JIS A 1967:2005 Indoor air -- Sampling and analysis of volatile organic compounds by sorbent tube/thermal desorption/capillary gas chromatography -- Diffusive sampling
This standard provides general guidance for the sampling and analysis of volatile organic compounds (hereinafter referred to as VOCs) in air. This standard applies to indoor air. This standard applies to hydrocarbons. Applicable to a wide range of VOCs including halogenated hydrocarbons, esters, glycol ethers, ketones and alcohols. For measuring these VOCs, it is recommended to use samplers () with different applicable ranges. However, since only a portion of low-boiling compounds is captured by the adsorbent, only a qualitative evaluation is possible. Furthermore, although all semi-volatile compounds are adsorbed by the adsorbent, only a portion can be recovered.
