This standard applies to the measurement of the suppression characteristics (i.e. insertion loss) of the following radio interference filters and suppression components: Suppression components of a single capacitor, inductor or resistor; A filter composed of an assembly of devices. The applicable frequency range of this standard is 10kHz～30MHz. The standard measurement method or fixed termination impedance measurement method described in this standard can be used for asymmetric measurement, symmetrical measurement, measurement of no load voltage or load current, and measurement of applied load voltage and (or) load current in the laboratory or production line. Measurement. The suppression characteristics of radio interference filters and suppression components depend not only on their own structural parameters, but also on their termination impedance, load current, load voltage and other factors. In order to be able to compare the measurement results measured by various laboratories or provided by various manufacturers, standard measurement methods must be used. The resulting measured characteristics may differ from those observed in actual use because the termination impedance at the time of measurement is not the same as that present in the actual device. This standard does not apply to the measurement of the insertion loss of resistors, cables and other devices used to suppress interference in vehicle ignition systems.
