- This standard specifies the definition and symbols, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of camera shutters (hereinafter referred to as shutters). This standard applies to lens shutters and focal plane shutters of compact cameras (including stereo cameras and disposable cameras, excluding one-step imaging cameras and special-purpose cameras), and does not apply to shutters of digital cameras.
