Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order form) content of lithium hydride. This standard applies to lithium hydride produced by chemical synthesis using metallic lithium and hydrogen as raw materials. This product is mainly used as reducing agent, catalyst and condensing agent in organic synthesis.
