Scope

This standard specifies the terms, definitions and symbols, basic requirements, main relationships, and testing principles and methods of locking force for threaded connections of sewing machine fastening screws and related parts. This standard applies to special fastening bolts, screws and nuts for sewing machines. This standard does not apply to threaded connections and uses with spring washers and elastic washers.
