Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types and basic parameters, functions, requirements, electrical safety performance, environmental adaptability, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of grating angle encoders. This standard is applicable to angle measurement based on circular grating disks. The accuracy levels are ±0.25", ±0.5", ±1", ±2", ±5", ±10" and ±20".
