Scope

This part of GB/T 778 specifies the selection and installation of single water meters, double water meters, coaxial water meters and connecting pipe fittings, special requirements for water meters, and guidelines for the first use of new water meters or repaired water meters to ensure accurate, stable measurement and reliability of water meters. reading. This part of GB/T 778 also applies to water meters based on electrical or electronic principles and based on mechanical principles with electronic devices for measuring the actual volume flow of drinking cold water and hot water. This section also applies to electronic auxiliary devices. Note 1: Auxiliary devices are usually optional. The recommendations of this part of GB/T 778 apply to water meters that are defined as totalizing meters and use any technology to continuously measure the volume of flowing water. Note 2: If national regulations are involved, the national regulations are higher than the provisions of this part of GB/T 778.
