Scope
This standard specifies the size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of carbon bearing steel hot-rolled bars. This standard is applicable to the manufacture of hot-rolled bars with a diameter of 20 mm to 150 mm for the manufacture of automobile hub bearing units. Bars for other purposes can refer to this standard.
