- This standard specifies the requirements for personnel, equipment and systems, and operating procedures for surface-supplied mixed-gas diving with heliox as the breathing medium. This standard applies to helium-oxygen mixed gas diving with a diving depth of less than 120 m, and also to simulated diving exposed to helium-oxygen mixed gas within 1.2 MPa.
