- This rule applies to the installation, modification, major maintenance supervision inspection and periodic inspection of hydraulic elevators (except explosion-proof elevators, firefighter elevators, and utility elevators). The production and use units of the hydraulic elevators mentioned in the previous paragraph (including the design, manufacturing, installation, modification, repair, and daily maintenance of hydraulic elevators, the same below), as well as the special equipment inspection and testing institutions engaged in the supervision, inspection and periodic inspection of hydraulic elevators, The provisions of these rules must be followed.
