Scope

This standard specifies the operating procedures for clinical diagnosis of poultry Newcastle disease, virus isolation and identification, hemagglutination and hemagglutination inhibition tests, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, and fluorescent reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. This standard applies to the quarantine of Newcastle disease in imported and exported poultry and their products.
