Scope

This standard applies to the determination of ionized soluble organic or inorganic substances in electrical insulating materials, their presence evidenced by the increase in the volumetric conductivity of the extraction solution. This test has special significance for electrical insulating materials immersed in refrigerants or impregnating agents.
