- This standard specifies the comparison test blocks (plates) for ultrasonic automatic inspection of thick steel plates, ultrasonic automatic inspection systems and equipment, inspection conditions and methods, measurement and evaluation of defects, quality classification of steel plates, inspection reports, etc. This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic automatic detection of steel plates for boilers, pressure vessels, bridges, buildings, shipbuilding, structural steel, pipeline steel, etc. with a thickness of 6mm to 200mm.
