Scope

1.1 This part of GB 567 specifies the basic technical requirements for the application, selection and installation of bursting disc safety devices. 1.2 This Part applies to the following bursting disc safety devices: —— This Part applies to bursting disc safety devices used in pressure vessels, pressure pipes or other sealed pressure-bearing equipment (hereinafter referred to as pressure-bearing equipment) to prevent overpressure or excessive vacuum . ——The bursting pressure of the bursting disc in the bursting disc safety device applicable to this part is not greater than 500MPa and not less than 0.001MPa. 1.3 This section does not apply to the following bursting disc safety devices: ——Pressure-bearing equipment that may have a sharp increase in pressure during operation and whose reaction speed reaches detonation. —— Bursting disc safety devices with special requirements for national defense and military equipment.
