Scope

This International Standard specifies the telemetry (TM) space data link protocol, a data link layer protocol as defined in ISO/IEC 7498-1, and is be used over space-to-ground or space-to-space communications links by space missions. The scope and field of application are furthermore detailed in subclauses 1.1 and 1.2 of the enclosed CCSDS publication.
