Scope
This procedure is formulated in order to implement the national technical and economic policies in the design and construction of space grid structures, achieve advanced technology, be safe and applicable, be economically reasonable, and ensure quality. This procedure is applicable to the design and construction of space grid structures mainly composed of steel rods, including grid frames, single-layer or double-layer grid shells, and three-dimensional trusses. When designing the spatial grid structure, the structural plan, grid layout and construction measures should be reasonably selected based on the actual situation of the project, and material supply, processing and production, and on-site construction and installation plans should be comprehensively considered to achieve good technical and economic results. Single-layer reticulated shell structures should not be equipped with suspended cranes. The grid and double-layer grid shell structures directly bear the load of suspended cranes with working levels of A3 and above. When the number of stress change cycles is greater than or equal to 5*10, fatigue calculations should be carried out, and their allowable stress amplitude and structure should undergo special tests.
