Scope

This standard is applicable to the detection and acceptance of circumferential butt joints of oil and gas steel pipelines with a wall thickness of 6mm to 50mm and a pipe diameter greater than 100mm using a multi-channel, acoustic focusing, and zoned scanning fully automatic ultrasonic inspection system.
