Scope
This standard specifies the types, specifications, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging and transportation requirements of drill string conversion joints (referred to as conversion joints). This standard applies to conversion joints used to convert and connect drill string components in oil and natural gas drilling operations.
