Scope: This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of communication power cord terminals (hereinafter referred to as terminals) with rated voltages of 600/1000V and below (hereinafter referred to as terminals). This standard applies to transition terminal blocks for conductors of communication power cords with rated voltages of 600/1000 V and below.
