This standard specifies the test conditions, comparison samples, test items, test methods, minimum performance indicators that should be achieved, and test report content for the comprehensive performance of steel pipe automatic ultrasonic flaw detection systems (generally including ultrasonic flaw detectors, ultrasonic probes and transmission devices). This standard is applicable to the comprehensive performance testing of automatic ultrasonic flaw detection systems for steel pipes. It can be used as a reference for the comprehensive performance testing of manual ultrasonic flaw detection, electromagnetic ultrasonic automatic flaw detection, phased array ultrasonic automatic flaw detection and steel rod automatic ultrasonic flaw detection systems.
