- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, marking, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order) content of alkyl hydroxamic acid (sodium). This standard applies to liquid products of alkyl hydroxamic acid (sodium) (RCONHOH (Na)) manufactured from C or C fatty acids. Alkyl hydroxamic acid (sodium) is mainly used for various metal oxidation ores and partial oxidation. It is a collector for the flotation of sulfide ores and rare earth metal oxidized ores, and alkyl hydroxamic acid is also an extractant for gallium, germanium and other metals in non-ferrous metal smelting.
