Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of X-ray stress measuring instruments. This standard applies to mechanical scanning X-ray stress testers (hereinafter referred to as stress testers). The corresponding parts of other types of stress gauges can also be adopted as a reference.
