- This standard specifies the terms and definitions for test bench test methods for measuring the friction performance of wet sintered metal friction materials, test equipment, test pieces, determination and calculation of friction coefficient, determination and calculation of allowable values of energy load, and test reports. This standard is suitable for determining the kinetic friction coefficient, static friction coefficient, wear rate and energy load allowable values of wet sintered metal test pieces under lubricated conditions.
