Scope

This standard specifies the performance test methods for eddy current detectors. This standard applies to single-channel eddy current detectors (hereinafter referred to as eddy current detectors). Relevant parts of multi-channel eddy current detectors can also be used as a reference. This standard does not give performance inspection indicators, nor does it specify acceptance criteria. These contents are given in the application technical documents.
