- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. for acoustic pulse detectors (hereinafter referred to as detectors) and their accessories such as connecting hoses and sensors. This standard applies to single-channel acoustic pulse detectors. Multi-channel or other forms of acoustic pulse detectors may be used as a reference.
